Devoted, audacious, spirited - like her name - Ruah Uhlman is an actor with roots in the wild Pacific Northwest. Ruah loves playing resilient, emotionally complex women who are navigating personal turmoil and issues of identity in circumstances where societal expectations restrict and oppress their autonomy.

Ruah finds great fulfillment working in the intimacy of small casts. She is drawn to telling stories that inspire healing and positive change through a deep exploration of complex human experiences. Her goal is to use storytelling to foster a more equitable and just world.

Seattle-born and raised, Ruah is a big subscriber to the outdoors and loves hiking, biking, running, skiing, and spending time in the mountains. In 2023 she backpacked the northern route of the Camino de Santiago in Spain solo. In her spare time, Ruah likes to collage, shoot film photography, thrift, knit, and make up new words.

Ruah received her BFA in Acting from Baldwin Wallace University this past May, and is heading for NYC in the new year!
